Yarra City Council is seeking an experienced community engagement professional to join our Strategic Communications and Engagement Branch as a Community Engagement Advisor.
If you have a passion for meaningful community engagement and love seeing community feedback play a role in decision making, this role could be for you. We’re a collaborative and creative bunch, and we need someone who can build strong relationships and manage community engagement projects from beginning to end.
With excellent project management skills, you'll plan, deliver and evaluate creative, complex and challenging community engagement projects across the full spectrum of council services. The variety and scale of projects means you’ll never be bored. IAP2 certification would be highly regarded.
We’re looking for someone who can build positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contribute to our positive and collaborative team culture, and who thrives in a fast-paced, issues-rich environment.
