Yarra City Council is a progressive and dynamic inner-city Council. We are seeking an experienced and qualified professional to lead our team of building project managers in the development and delivery of our buildings capital works program that allows Council to sustain a portfolio of fit-for-purpose buildings supporting the provision of various valuable services to the community.
As a member of the Building and Asset Management Branch, you will lead both the development of the project pipeline and the delivery of the program. Ideally you will have experience in successfully managing a project office with responsibility for delivery of multiple concurrent building construction or engineering projects, as well as experience in planning out, prioritising and justifying a forward program of building works.
Your highly developed communication, collaboration and influencing skills will allow you to partner with various stakeholders to achieve the successful planning and delivery of the program. The portfolio of projects in the program varies greatly in nature; there is the opportunity to be exposed to diverse array of projects, and to take a lead role in applying asset management principles to the planning and delivery of a building program that will make a real difference to the Yarra community.
