Strategic Communications & Engagement branch

Permanent Full Time (with flexible hours)

Band 5 – Starting from $80,410.06 + super + RDO (RDO applicable for full-time 38 hours per week only)

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a candidate with community engagement knowledge and experience to help deliver outcomes in the Strategic Communications and Engagement branch. This may include:

  • Assisting with the development of community engagement plans and support with other engagement related templates and processes.
  • Assisting with the delivery of consultations and community engagement projects with a particular focus on CALD communications and engagement with underrepresented groups.
  • Website administration for Your Say Yarra online engagement platform and Council website for engagement promotion.
  • Introducing dynamic, creative and innovative communication, activities and solutions to engage CALD and underrepresented groups within the City of Yarra.
  • Working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to write accessible engagement content for people from harder to reach and CALD communities in the City of Yarra.
