An exciting opportunity exists to join the Infrastructure Traffic & Civil Engineering Branch at Yarra City Council. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Coordinator to lead the Traffic Engineering Unit.
As the Senior Coordinator Traffic Engineering you will be a key member of the Infrastructure Traffic & Civil Engineering leadership team. You will lead the Traffic Engineering team to deliver sustainable solutions to a wide range of traffic engineering issues. You will be responsible for the management and delivery of Council’s Road Safety Studies (RSS), as well as the planning and design of traffic related capital works projects.
You will also be able to provide guidance and mentoring to team members, give professional and technical advice to internal and external stakeholders and have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
