Yarra City Council is looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our Meals Delivery Team. You will need to have good oral and written communication skills, a current driver’s license, and the use of a clean reliable vehicle. You will be reimbursed for mileage expenses.
You will be part of a small team responsible for providing high quality home delivered and centre based meals within the City of Yarra. Previous experience in food services and a Food Handling Certificate would be considered favourably. A current First Aid Certificate is also required.
Experience in the delivery of community services and an interest and understanding of the needs of older people is desirable but not essential. Experience with Microsoft applications would be highly valued. This role is four hours on a Thursday commencing at either 7am or 9.30am as per roster.
This permanent role will be allocated one regular 4 hour shift per week between 7am and 2pm.
