Family, Youth and Children's Services Business Administration and Project Support Officer

Permanent Part Time – 36.5 hours per week 

Band 5 - starting at $78,448.84  (Pro rata) + super

Yarra's Family, Youth and Children's Services Branch plans and delivers services for children, young people and their families. A small branch administration team supports the People & Culture, management and service planning functions of the branch.

This position directly supports branch administration by:

  • Coordinating the overall administration of personnel-related functions of the FY&CS Branch
  • Supporting the Service Planning and Development unit with business systems improvement projects
  • Contributing to development and delivery of effective business and customer support through the provision of high-quality customer service for internal and external clients
  • Ensuring that procedures and practices are consistent and comply with organisational policy, legislative and licensing requirements.

What qualifications and experience you will need for this role?

  • Tertiary qualification in business administration with little or no experience or lesser formal qualifications with work skills and relevant experience
  • Some experience in a Human Resources role, demonstrating an understanding of concepts, sensitivities, and deliverables Consider the depth and breadth of experience required to perform the job competently
  • Some experience providing administrative support for business systems or administration projects
