Building Operations and Environmental Lead

Permanent Full Time - (Flexible)

Band 7 - Starting from $105,898.17 + Super + RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

A unique opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to take on this role within the Buildings and Capital Project team.

We are seeking an experienced facilities professional to join our team to manage our facility cleaning contracts, ensure Council's compliance with its environmental management obligations, and plan and deliver a range of minor buildings capital works projects. 

As a member of the Building Maintenance team you will:

  • Have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage service contracts
  • Be highly motivated with a can-do attitude, be team focused and possess excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • Effectively engage, inform and consult with internal and external stakeholders, including community groups.
  • Be able to perform under pressure and effectively coordinate project requirements and resources in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
  • Manage all aspects of the project and have great attention to detail whilst maintaining the bigger picture.
