The Youth and Middle Years Unit is recruiting for multiple casual Youth Services Officers to join our passionate and vibrant team.
The Youth Services Officer will support the delivery of programs, activities and events to engage young people and help connect them to other youth services in the community.
The key responsibilities include:
- Welcome young people and visitors to Yarra Youth Centre and Richmond Youth Hub and assist them to safely access the service in line with Council’s policies and procedures.
- Provide visitors with information about Yarra Youth Services programs, activities and events held at the Yarra Youth Centre, Richmond Youth Hub and in the community.
- Assist in the delivery of responsive services, programs, events and/or activities for young people in the municipality.
- Support the planning, delivery and promotion of programs, events and activities for young people, including after-school and school holiday programs.
- Undertake project-based activities as required that respond to needs and interest of young people.
