Parking Control Officer

1x Casual position - Night shift (Monday - Sunday 5pm - 12am)

Required availabilities: Thursday to Saturday

1x Casual position - Day Shift (Monday - Sunday 7am - 6pm)

Band 4A + 25% - $46.01 per hour + Super

Yarra City Council is seeking Parking Control Officers to join the Compliance and Parking team in a casual capacity.

The Compliance Branch is responsible for ensuring compliance with Council's local laws, parking, public health regulations and planning regulations. The vision of our Branch is to implement a range of parking efficiencies, statutory health protection and compliance services to maximise the safety, compliance and harmony in the city.

You will:

• Be a motivated and enthusiastic professional
• Have strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment to enable you to operate in a vibrant and challenging environment
• Respond to local parking needs in a regulatory framework of the Road Rules
• Be an effective team player who is able to interact with the public and residents in a courteous and professional manner and thrive in a demanding role
• Be a great communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills.

Experience in a regulatory role is desirable but not essential.
