The City of Yarra is a vibrant inner-metropolitan municipality serving a diverse community of approximately 100,000 residents across 12 Melbourne suburbs. We are committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for our community through our Council Plan and guided by our values of collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement.

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Certificate III and Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educators to join our team at Yarraberg Children's Centre within the Richmond Early Years Precinct.

We are looking for educators who are inspired by early years education and care and who share our commitment to inclusive, responsive and relationship-based practice. We are particularly interested in candidates who are passionate about embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in meaningful ways, building strong connections with families and communities, and supporting children through culturally responsive practices.

Working within our mixed-age programs offers a unique opportunity to foster rich peer learning, nurture children's individual strengths and support holistic development through play-based learning experiences.

This is an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organisation that values innovation, collaboration and professional learning. Together, we strive to create environments where children feel safe, respected and empowered, and where educators are supported to develop rewarding and impactful careers.

As a Child Safe Organisation, Yarra is committed to promoting and protecting the rights, safety and wellbeing of all children. We seek educators who share this commitment and understand the profound responsibility and privilege of working alongside children and families.
