About the Role
Join our new Senior Services Unit within the Ageing, Equity and Community Development Branch. We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable team member with excellent customer service and business support skills to support the delivery of our food services and home maintenance services.
In this role, you will be the primary contact for residents, helping them to access important services that enable independence at home. In addition, your administrative skills will be relied upon to ensure services are delivered on time and as requested. The Senior Support Services Unit has a focus on community well-being and social connections.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent customer skills, with the ability to listen, engage with and relate to older people. You will also have excellent administrative skills with an eye to detail and accuracy. As part of a small and collaborative team, flexibility is essential. You’ll also provide support across our Social Support and Community Transport programs, especially during periods of staff leave or peak demand. You may have previous experience working in a related role and have advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience in using client management systems.
