As the Workplace Services Lead, you’ll head the delivery of workplace technology support across the City of Yarra. You’ll oversee key functions including service desk operations, desktop support, mobile device management, and audiovisual services—ensuring seamless, efficient, and future-ready digital experiences for our staff and stakeholders.
This is a leadership role where you’ll manage a team of IT professionals, drive service excellence, and collaborate with internal and external partners to align technology services with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Workplace Services team
- Drive service delivery improvements and customer satisfaction
- Manage AV support and technology infrastructure
- Oversee vendor relationships and service level agreements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align services with business needs
- Develop and manage budgets, policies, and compliance frameworks
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience leading IT teams in service desk, desktop support, and AV environments
- Expertise in IT service management (ITIL, incident/problem/change management)
- Strong customer service orientation and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or Business
- Desirable: ITIL, PMP, or other leadership certifications
