As the Head of IT Infrastructure Architect & Operations, you will lead the strategic design, delivery, and optimisation of our IT infrastructure and platforms. This includes hybrid cloud architecture, data centre services, networking, disaster recovery, and cyber security frameworks. You will drive operational performance, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with public sector standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient IT infrastructure.
• Oversee cyber security strategy and operations, implementing proactive security measures.
• Develop future-ready infrastructure strategies and embed modern service management practices.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Manage vendor relationships and IT infrastructure budgets.
• Promote sustainable IT practices and integrate emerging technologies.

About You:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proven track record in system design principles and best practices for scalability and security.
• ITIL certification highly regarded.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an inclusive, high-performance team culture.
• Expertise in cyber security frameworks (e.g., Essential 8, NIST).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes.
