Building Operations and Environmental Lead

Temporary Full Time - From March 2025 - July 2025 (4 months)

Band 7- $105,898.17- $ 118,398.61 + Super + RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only) pro rata

A unique opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to take on this role within the Building and Asset Management team on a temporary basis, for 4 months.

We are seeking an experienced facilities professional to join our team to manage our facility cleaning contracts, ensure Council's compliance with its environmental management obligations, and plan and deliver a range of minor buildings capital works projects. 

As a member of the Building Maintenance team you will:

  • Have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage service contracts
  • Be highly motivated with a can-do attitude, be team focused and possess excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • Effectively engage, inform and consult with internal and external stakeholders, including community groups.
  • Be able to perform under pressure and effectively coordinate project requirements and resources in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
  • Manage all aspects of the project and have great attention to detail whilst maintaining the bigger picture.
