Environmental Health Officer

Part-time - 3 days a week (Flexible) - Temporary (Six months)

Band 6 - $94,850 - $103,260 + super + RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

The Health Protection Unit provides health protection services on behalf of the Yarra City Council and has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Environmental Health Officer to join their team.

Responsibilities of the role include all activities as an authorised and delegated officer under the Food Act 1984, Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008, Tobacco Act 1987, Environment Protection Act 2017 (residential noise and litter enforcement) and Local Government Act 1987 including premises and other site inspection, sampling, education, and investigation of complaints.
