Permanent Full-time (job-share opportunities possible)

Band 3 - $64,772.58 - $69,960.94 (hourly rate $32.77 - $35.40)

Yarra City Council Children’s Services are seeking dedicated educators for our Long Day Care programs in Richmond, Fitzroy, Collingwood and North Carlton.

Yarra is a child safe organisation and as such you will understand the important role that educators play in protecting and advocating for children’s wellbeing.

To be successful in this role, the following is required:

  • Minimum qualification of Certificate 3
  • At least 6 months experience in an early childhood service
  • Up to date First Aid, CPR, EpiPen and Asthma Management qualifications
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate responsive routines and programs guided by the approved learning frameworks
  • Current mandatory reporting training
  • Team focused approach
