Casual role - Band 3A + 25% $39.16 per hour + Super
The Family, Youth and Children’s Services Branch forms part of the Community Wellbeing Division. The Children’s Services Unit contributes directly to the achievement of Branch and organisational goals.
The incumbent will be able to wok effectively in a team and develop sound working relationships with a range of internal and external parties.
We are looking for assistants that have experience, enthusiasm and passion for working with children aged 5-12 in our aftercare and vacation care programs.
Applicants must meet the qualification criteria of a Cert III in studies in Education, Recreation, Children’s Service’s or Youth.
The successful candidate will have strong engagement skills with a broad range of children from different age groups as well as sensitivity to families with differing parenting and cultural practice
