An exciting opportunity exists to become part of the Permits and Consents (Construction Management) team in the Infrastructure Traffic & Civil Engineering Branch at Yarra City Council. This is a busy and highly motivated team who are responsible to assess and issue a variety of occupation permits and consents relating to building and utility works within the municipality.
The successful applicant will have:
- An understanding of relevant legislation including the Road Management Act and associated Consents and Council's Local Laws and the permits issued under them.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a high workload of permits with a strong focus on customer service.
- Great problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
