Temporary - Part Time – 15.2 hours per week until 24 July 2026
Band 6 - starting at $94,850.87 (pro rata) + super

Are you interested in addressing complex social issues in a dynamic inner-city context? Do you have a passion in turning research into action? We have an exciting position for a Policy Advisor to join our passionate, talented and highly collaborative Policy and Partnerships team.
In addition to driving the development, implementation and evaluation of a diverse range of strategic portfolio areas, you will oversee the delivery of multiple social strategies. The work of the Ageing, Equity and Community Development Branch is strongly influenced by evidence-based and social determinants approaches and focuses on building connections, sustaining excellent stakeholder relationships and integrating best-practice responses.
To apply, you’ll need tertiary qualifications in the social sciences, public policy or a related field and a proven track record in applied research, project management and/or evaluation in a local government or comparable context.
