Join our Access & Ageing Well Unit within the Ageing, Equity and Community Development Branch. We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Coordinator to lead our whole of organisation approaches to improving access and inclusion, and ageing well outcomes. A key driver is to strategically embed diversity and inclusionary practices to deliver sustainable outcomes for the community.
In this role, you will lead a small team responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of action plans in line with Council’s Plan. This will include driving change through the development of policies, leading projects and initiating new actions in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
To be successful in this role, you will have high level strategic leadership skills and a track record in developing high performing teams. You will have demonstrated experience in social research, community development and project management skills. Your understanding of contemporary social policy, social inclusion, accessibility and ageing well issues will position you well to communicate and advocate for the needs of the community on behalf of the organisation.
