Fleet Lead

Permanent Full Time (Flexible) - (Part time, job share and other requests for flexibility will be considered.)

Band 7 - $103,821.63 -$116,077.07 + super + RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

The City Works branch is seeking a highly motivated, fleet enthusiast to join the team.

Based at the Clifton Hill depot, the branch is responsible for a wide range of functions that keep Yarra clean and well-maintained including waste operations, street cleansing, fleet services and open space maintenance and project delivery. 

The Fleet Lead will use their superb organisational skills and strong initiative to manage the day-to-day operations of the City of Yarra's fleet and will undertake wide range of varied tasks to keep Council's heavy and passenger vehicles on the move. 

As part of your responsibilities you will administer the fleet booking system, provide a high level of customer service to fleet users, troubleshoot issues and problems as they arise and schedule the maintenance and servicing of all our fleet assets. 

The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced operational environment, where no two days are the same.
