Independent Advisor – Chief Executive Officer Employment Matters Committee (CEO EMC)

About the Role

The Independent Advisor provides strategic leadership to Council's Chief Executive Officer Employment Matters Committee and supports Council in meeting its obligations under Section 45 of the Local Government Act 2020.

Working closely with Council, the Independent Advisor facilitates robust and informed consideration of CEO employment matters, including performance, remuneration, recruitment, succession planning, contractual arrangements, and related governance processes. Responsibility for all employment decisions remains with Council.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a candidate with extensive experience in executive employment, remuneration, performance assessment and leadership oversight to help deliver outcomes in Governance.
