You’ll lead end-to-end policy projects in a fast-paced inner-city environment, from research and analysis through to implementation and evaluation. The work is informed by evidence-based practice and social determinants approaches, and requires strong judgement, clear writing and the ability to work across organisational boundaries.
The portfolio spans complex issues including community wellbeing, health equity, access and inclusion, ageing well, social planning and strategic partnerships. You’ll work closely with internal leads and external stakeholders to support Council and executive decision-making and deliver place-based outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- lead applied research and translate evidence into practical policy advice
- develop and oversee strategies, action plans and policy frameworks
- prepare high-quality reports, briefings and submissions
- build effective stakeholder relationships
