The Food Services Assistant helps deliver nutritious meals to older people, supporting their independence and wellbeing. The role may involve packing and delivering meals safely and on time, heating and plating meals when required, and providing guidance to clients on storage and serving. It may also involve assisting in the kitchen or dining room for the weekly Community lunch. You’ll monitor client wellbeing, report concerns, complete basic paperwork, and maintain food safety and hygiene standards. This is a hands-on role where you’ll make daily community connections while ensuring safe, high-quality meal services.

Key Requirements
- Food Safety & Handling – Level 1 (essential requirement)
- Awareness of basic food safety procedures
- Satisfactory Police Check, Working with Children Check, and pre-employment medical
