Band 7 – Starting from $105,898.17 + super + RDO (RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

There is an exciting opportunity to join the City of Yarra Traffic team as the Senior Traffic and Transport Engineer.
You will play an important role in leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of traffic management and transport initiatives that improve road safety, accessibility, and network efficiency across the municipality. The role provides expert technical advice on traffic engineering, transport planning, and road safety, supporting strategic projects and day-to-day operational decisions.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player with a collaborative skill set. You will have experience in resolving complex technical issues with high community interest, both autonomously and within a dynamic team and organisation environment. You will need to be a good communicator and be able to negotiate good outcomes for Council and the community.
