Band 7 $97,402.18 - $108,990.80 + Super + RDO
The City Works Branch is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of services to the Yarra Community including Asset Management/Maintenance, Capital Works Delivery, Civil Works, Roads Maintenance, Waste Management, Street Cleansing, Open Space Maintenance, Tree Services, Streetscapes and Natural Values and Fleet Services.
The key duties of this role include:
- The development of Councils Drainage Asset Management plan including an assessment of the condition of Councils drainage assets.
- Assist the Co-ordinator Drainage & Stormwater in the developing the Council’s integrated water management plan.
- Develop a 10 year drainage and WSUD capital works program, focusing on maintenance and replacement of drainage assets.
- Prepare scope for individual projects and budget cost estimates, ensuring full lifecycle costs are considered.
This position requires the Asset Drainage Engineer to gain co-operation and assistance from clients, members of the public and other employees in the performance of their duties
