A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced finance professional to join a highly motivated and driven team, and play a hands on role in the transformation of the Finance function at the City of Yarra.
An integral link in the Finance team, your knowledge of Technology One or equivalent reporting packages will be key in supporting the strategic direction of the Finance team and Council in automating and linking key business systems and processes to support high quality and timely data for reporting and decision making purposes.
In addition, your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will position you as a key support to Council in providing training and ongoing support as a Finance Business Partner.
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
- Extensive experience in the field of information technology and information systems;
- Strong experience in data manipulation, analysis and interrogation;
- Demonstrated experience in the development of accounting policies and systems;
- Experience with Technology One finance software package strongly desirable;
- Experience providing high levels of customer service to internal and external stakeholders;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, organisation, time management and negotiation skills.
