Casual and Permanent Part Time positions available

Casual $34.55 per hour (includes 25% leave loading) + super

Permanent Part Time $54,617 - $59,506 (pro rata) + super

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Yarra Leisure Aquatic Programs team as Swim Instructors. The role of Swim Instructor will allow you to contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of aquatic programs including learn to swim, squad and other specialty aquatic based programs.

Our aquatic programs operate from three facilities; the Collingwood Leisure Centre, Fitzroy Swimming Pool and Richmond Recreation Centre.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and develop strong relationships with all Leisure patrons and staff
  • Provide efficient and effective instruction to all Leisure Aquatic Program participants
  • Perform all work processes in accordance with the Leisure Aquatic programs and policies and procedures
  • hold a current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate (or equivalent), CPR qualification and working with children check.
